What is the Kohl's A-Team program?
The
Kohl's A-Team is an opportunity for Kohl's associates to
work together to volunteer their time to benefit a
children's charity in their community. When at least
five Kohl's associates volunteer a minimum of three
hours each to support a youth-oriented organization,
Kohl's will donate $500 to that charity in recognition
and support of their volunteer efforts.
How can organizations be considered for
support by a Kohl's A-Team?
If
your youth-serving nonprofit charitable organization has
501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and would like to invite a
Kohl's A-Team to participate in your next volunteer
opportunity, please contact your local store manager.
Use Kohl's store
locator to find your nearest Kohl's store.

Kohl's Cares for Kids Card
Program
|
You are probably more aware of their
Fundraising Card Program called, Kohl's Cares
for Kids. Much like UnitedScrip, Kohl's has
created a simple, effective way to raise funds for
schools and nonprofit youth organizations and eliminate
many of the hassles associated with fundraising!
Just one of the GREAT things about Kohl's is the
fact that they are one of only 2 companies that allow
their KCK Cards to be used to pay off your Kohl's credit
card account! (Their regular gift
cards may not be used as payment against those
accounts)
Kohl's partners with Unitedscrip to make their
KCK Cards available to groups whether they need one card
or 100 cards, without any minimum order.
UnitedScrip, as with it's other partners, retains 1% to
cover our operating expesses. Kohl's also works
directly with nonprofit organizationis at a
discount of five percent for purchases over $1,000 and
three percent for total purchases from $500 to $999.
Cards are available in denominations of $10, $25, $50
and $100.

And Another Thing One and Thing Two...
Everyone knows books are good for children, but Kohl's
brings new meaning to the idea of books benefiting America's
youth. Since the inception of Kohl's Cares for Kids® in 2000,
Kohl's has turned their $5 books and plush into more than
$102 million for children's initiatives nationwide while
providing affordable books for millions of eager
readers. Kohl's Cares for Kids® earmarks net profits for
initiatives such as injury prevention, immunizations and
education programs for diabetes, asthma and childhood obesity,
among others. The program was created as a commitment to the
communities they serve. Every day, Kohl's directs time,
effort and funding toward children's health and education. In
fact, 100% of the net profits from the sale of Kohl's Cares
for Kids merchandise will be donated to support health and
educational opportunities for children. Kohl's Cares for
Kids is proof that a little love goes a long way and a good
book can positively impact children far beyond story
time. Visit a Kohl's near you or online to find these great
Kohl's Cares® for Kids
items.
